Thus, from September 10 to 13 and from 16 to 20 of the same month, the workers will stop working as a form of protest against the removal of 1,765 jobs which is part of the government and creditors plan to reduce the staff in public administration.
Consequently, on September 11, the day scheduled for starting of students registration, the secretariats of all school facilities will be closed and is unlikely to return to work before September 20.
In the statement issued by the union was noted that there is no place for inaction, adding that the current economic situation is the most critical in all of our working life, given to the imminent threat of being laid off 25 percent of the staff.
Meanwhile, yesterday the Ministry of Education issued a circular to all schools requesting to calculate the excess number of employees according to a series of indicators and limits, and develop detailed lists of these officials.
